Rocket Man takes aim: Pop singer Elton John is really miffed. He's taking legal action in London against a man he claims electronically sneaked into his computer and obtained details of his credit card and bank spending-which were then published.
John's management company John Reid Entertainment is suing Benjamin Pell , 34, Britain Mirror newspaper and Max Clifford, a public relations consultant who allegedly brokered a deal between Pell and the Mirror, according to media reports.
In its Jan. 26 edition the Mirror reported how the singer spent $870,000 in one day on an "amazing shopping spree" that sparked a cash-flow crisis in his business empire. The singer has obtained a High Court injunction against all three parties.
