According to Germany's newspaper Berliner Morgenpost of November 13, 1999, Elton is involved in a project of choreographer Maurice Bjart for the year 2000.
Bjart is preparing a festival in Versailles near Paris. Bjart says the music for the play will be composed by a "very well-known British pop pianist". He doesn't deny the name Elton John.
