According to a report on MSNBC, Elton was spotted on Oscar
night "having a major hissy fit" when one of Los Angeles finest police officers refused to let him drive through a roped-off area.
"He was screaming his lungs out at the cop," says an Oscar-party-going source. "He was calling him all sorts of names." Eltons spokeswoman had no comment.
The source says the police officer didnt seem cowed by the pianist. "The cop was just smiling at him," says the source, "and saying, Go on, Mr. John, you are making my day! "
