Sir Elton John's once-in-a-lifetime performance in the ancient Greek amphitheatre at Ephesus in Turkey on July 17, 2001, will be broadcast on the web - for the first time ever.
For the first time on the Web, this performance will be made available worldwide, but the numbers of viewers will be limited during the live performance to assure the highest possible quality.
Viewers will be able to watch this performance live and as many times as they wish, but only for seven days only. Elton will play a mix of his older and newer hits, plus at least one single from his not-yet-released album. Additionally, special behind-the-scenes footage, competitions and other elements will be part of the event's package. The cost will be US$9.99 to access the 100k stream, US$14.99 to access the 300k stream.
The MSN webcast of Sir Elton John's concert at Ephesus is a joint effort among Media Arts Corporation, the show's promoter, the production company Done & Dusted, and internet broadcaster Mediawave.
