Elton John has just earned his 35th gold record for his release, Songs From The West Coast.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded gold certification to Elton's Songs From the West Coast for sales of over 500,000 units in the USA. This is in addition to a career spanning more than 24 platinum records, where over 1 million units are sold.
