Elton has donated a Versace salmon-coloured suit to the 10th annual Celebrity Cutting auction, helping cancer patients, on Friday, December 3.

Meanwhile, the two-piece outfit which he wore in concert in the nineties and later signed, can be seen at Leddy's Ranch at the Sundance in Fort Worth, TX, through Thursday morning.

The auction will also feature a gold record donated by Bernie Taupin. It was presented for Canadian record sales of Sleeping With The Past. The award is framed and includes a photograph of Bernie's songwriting partner.

In addition, there is an Ovation guitar, signed by both men. It's the same model Bernie used when creating lyrics for numerous hit songs. In fact, he has been using these types of instruments for two decades.

Beverly Branch, who helped produce the event, believes the above contributions will attract more interest than usual. What's more, spokesperson Jan Batts says that Bernie is expected to attend all of the events, and will participate in the celebrity cattle herding at Will Rogers Coliseum.

Tickets can be had at Leddy's, the Gunsmoke Grill and Saloon, or by visiting http://www.celebritycutting.org/.
