Library's Virtual Event to Focus on Star's ''Golden Years''

The Baltimore County Public Library in Maryland is holding a virtual event tomorrow evening called Elton John: The Golden Years, 1970-1976.

Elton's early days, going from songwriter and session man to renowned performer will be explored. His ''golden years'' were when he dominated worldwide record charts with singles like Your Song and Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting).
In addition, the program will survey Elton's wide-ranging accomplishments, including soundtracks and collaborative albums. 
Registration closes an hour before the start of the two-hour program. A valid email address is needed at registration to send a Zoom link to the program 30 minutes before it begins. Anyone under the age of eight should be accompanied by an adult.
