Late Music Veteran's Son Reflects On His Legacy

A French promoter who worked with stars ranging from Nico to Elton passed away on the 10th of January.

 
Gerard Drouot was 69, and had been fighting leukaemia, according to his company, Gerard Drouot Productions. In a statement on social media, GDP and Drouot's son, Matthieu, said:
 
''His reputation around the world was matched only by his professionalism and his passion for live music.'' 
 
They added that his selflessness and advice would never be forgotten.
