Elton will be celebrating his 150th Rocket Hour with Josh Homme, from Queens of the Stone Age. This will be on Saturday, 9 a.m. PST and noon EST. In the UK, the radio show is to air at 5 p.m.

Queens of the Stone Age covered Elton’s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road at a show in February, where they were joined by Mark Ronson.

In 2013, Elton made a guest appearance on the band’s album, . . . Like Clockwork.

Homme called him a ”workaholic” and ”a music fan who’s constantly searching for new music to get involved with.”

He also said called his friend ”an amazing piano player.” When Elton first phoned him, Josh couldn’t help but wonder whether he ”being punked or not.”

He added that they enjoyed a ”strange chemistry,” and a ”wonderful experience.”
