A popular Disney production with music by Elton and Tim Rice (with additional composition by Lebo M) will reopen in the West End this summer. 

The Lion King will resume performances at the Lyceum Theatre from the 29th of July. 

Now in its 21st year at this establishment, The Lion King is directed by Julie Taymor, with scenic design by Richard Hudson; lighting design by Donald Holder; costume design by Taymor; and choreography by Garth Fagan
The book was adapted by Roger Allers, who co-directed the animated feature and Irene Mecchi, who co-wrote the screenplay.
