Elton and David Furnish have decided to follow in the footsteps of Prince Charles and Camilla.
They will tie the knot in the same place as the royal couple did (an April civil wedding ceremony prior to a religious blessing at St. George’s Chapel)–the elegant 17th century building, Windsor’s Guildhall, designed, in part, by Sir Christopher Wren.
In addition, the same registrar, Clair Williams, will officiate on December 21.
The proceedings will be private, but fans are expected to converge on the narrow streets outside. So already, the local council is joining forces with Thames Valley Police in anticipation.
