Some Wonderful Crazy Night dates have been announced for 2017, and there are now a few more.
One takes place on Saturday, March 18, when Elton returns to Bakersfield, California.
Tickets for the Rabobank Arena gig go on sale to the public December 9, but American Express customers can get a jump on other fans with a special pre-sale that starts at 10 a.m. today. Prices range from $49.50 to $149.50, plus fees.
“Elton John is a worldwide iconic star — he’s a knight, he’s been knighted! — so anytime we can get somebody like that to come and play Bakersfield, it’s a huge get for us as a building and as a community in general,” said Rabobank Arena marketing manager Nick Wynne in an interview with The Californian.
The March date will be at least the fourth time the showman has appeared in Bakersifeld. He first performed there in 1999, seven months after the opening of the city-owned arena, then called Centennial Garden.
Three nights later, on the 21st of March, the Elton John Band returns to Tucson, Arizona, for one performance at the Tucson Arena.
“It is truly an honour to welcome back Sir Elton John to the Tucson Arena for what will be an incredible performance,” stated Glenn Grabski, General Manager of the TCC.
The next evening, Elton and his band come back to Albuquerque, New Mexico . . . for the first time in 10 years.
They will be at Tingley Coliseum.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, for the March 21st and March 22nd concerts.
