Broadcasters in Canada, Asia and Europe have picked up a two-hour special celebrating the music of Sir Elton.

Elton John: I’m Still Standing has been acquired by Nine Network in Australia; Rogers in Canada; the UK’s ITV; WOWOW in Japan; and TVNZ in New Zealand.

France’s CStar, TV2 in Denmark, RTÉ in Ireland, NRK in Norway and NPO3 in the Netherlands have also added the show, as has M-Net in South Africa. Alfred Haber sells the programme globally.

Elton John: I’m Still Standing–A Grammy Salute was first broadcast on CBS in America, in April. It featured Miley Cyrus covering The Bitch is Back; Ed Sheeran singing Candle in The Wind; Sam Smith doing his rendition of Daniel; Little Big Town performing Rocket Man; as well as Christopher Jackson and Valerie Simpson’s version of Border Song–among many others.
