Turn on a classic rock station and it probably won’t be long before you hear a song Ken Scott contributed to.

A top engineer and producer, Ken has garnered Gold, Platinum, and Diamond record sales awards; multiple Grammy nominations; and even a Clio Award (for his recording of the classic Coke ad Id Like to Teach the World to Sing).

The music veteran has now come out with his story. Abbey Road to Ziggy Stardust – Off The Record With The Beatles, Bowie, Elton & So Much More, written with Bobby Owskinsi, offers intimate memories of working with some of the most important artists of the 20th century, while crafting a sound that influenced generations of music makers.

Complete with funny, provocative, and honest tales of the studio, stage, and even an infamous swimming pool incident, the book also contains never-before-seen photographs and technical details.

A representative from the Alfred publishing company has informed EJW that Scott will be making a number of appearances. They are as follows:

Breakfast With The Beatles (Chris Carter) Sirius XM Radio show on June 3;          Breakfast With The Beatles (Andre Gardner) – Radio show – Philadelphia & Arizona June 6 ; The Grammy Museum Ziggy Stardust screening with Q&A following on June 5; The Grammy Museum The Talk:  Abbey Road to Ziggy Stardust presentation July 19; and Chicago’s Beatlefest 2012, running August 10 to 12.
