Sir Elton John’s pop-music empire will dry up in eight weeks unless the star curbs his extravagant spending habits and replenishes his bank account immediately, a leaked letter from his accountant reveals.

The letter, published in Monday’s London Mirror, claims John, 50, regularly spends $85,000-plus on Versace outfits and Theo Fennell jewels, $17,000 a month on flowers from Bloomingdale’s in New York — and went through $850,000 on a single, one-day spree.

Princess Diana’s London-based memorial fund has unveiled a distinctive logo to attach to all official Diana memorabilia. Her sons, princes William, 15, and Harry, 13, have approved the design, which is her signature in purple (one of her fave colors) over the words “Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.”
