Some of Britain’s top names, including Elton, Michael Caine, Simon Cowell and Stephen Fry, got together to record Rudyard Kipling‘s iconic poem If as an amazing tribute to their Olympic and Paralympic heroes.

It forms the reminiscent soundtrack for a film to honour medallists from London 2012 and was premiered at Monday night’s Pride of Britain Awards.

Caine read the opening lines of If, followed by the rest of the cast as Olympic images unfolded.

The event took place at  London’s Grosvenor House.
